How Rose IT collects, uses and protects personal information.
Last updated 1 Sept 2026
Rose IT ("we", "us") builds software for clients worldwide. This policy explains what we collect through roseit.dev, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry or apply for a role, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of your message or application.
Information collected automatically. Our server records the IP address, browser user agent and referring page of form submissions. We use this only to identify automated spam.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers, sell data, or share your enquiry with anyone outside Rose IT.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and consent where you opt in to our newsletter.
Enquiries are retained for 24 months. Job applications are retained for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe, which every email links to.
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to privacy@roseit.dev and we will respond within 30 days.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access is limited to Rose IT staff who need it. We keep audit logs of administrative access.
We will post any change to this page and update the date below. Material changes are emailed to newsletter subscribers.
